The Story

Long ago, when the world of Endiness was only darkness, Soa, the creator of the world, planted a seed. This seed sprouted and grew into a giant tree called the Divine Tree. The Divine Tree eventually bore 108 fruits, which actually contained different forms of life and when the fruits fell, they brought to the earth a new life, a new creature. Soa wanted the fruits with the life forms to develop one after another until the last fruit, the 108th fruit, fell to the ground and brought the last species to world of Endiness. The last fruit contained the God of Destruction, a Virage Embryo which was supposed to destroy everything on the earth and allow life to start all over again. The 97th fruit contained the Gigantos, the 99th fruit contained the Minitos, the 105th fruit contained the Dragons, the 106th fruit contained the humans, the 107th contained the Winglies and of course the 108th fruit contained the Virage Embryo, the God of Destruction.
The Winglies, the 107th fruit, each had a magical power and as the years passed by, one of their two Wingly leaders, Melbu Frahma, used that special ability for evil. He and other Winglies invaded other life forms and species and killed most of them. They ruled over the Gigantos, Minitos, Dragons and humans and tortured them. At the peak of Wingly supremacy, they even ruled the gods! When the last fruit brought the God of Destruction, the most powerful species, the Winglies didn't want a being more powerful than them and therefore separated the flesh of the God of Destruction from its soul. They put the soul in a strong crystal sphere, that prevented it to fuse with the flesh, which became the The Moon That Never Sets. The other Wingly leader, Charle Frahma, who was the older sister of Melbu Frahma, designed five Signet Spheres that prevented the soul from reaching the flesh even further. The Signet Spheres circled around the The Moon That Never Sets or the flesh of the God of Destruction. The evil Melbu Frahma drew unlimited power from the Crystal Sphere and used it for conquest and supremacy. Melbu Frahma wanted to also destroy the Signet Spheres and started making five Divine Moon Objects that could destroy the Signet Spheres.
But, while Melbu Frahma was designing the five Divine Moon Objects the humans wanted to rise to fight against Winglies for their liberation in this world and to free the gods. Then a legendary miracle occured. There were some magical gems called "Dragoon Spirits" and owned by some of the humans who were chosen by fate. These gems give them a magical power which they could use against any enemy and to control the Dragons, which were very strong. They were the seven Dragon Knights or Dragoons which controlled the seven Dragons- fire, water, earth, darkness, thunder, wind and light. The seven Dragoons were Syuveil the Wind Dragoon, Damia the Water Dragoon, Belzac the Earth Dragoon, Kanzas the Violet Dragoon, Shirley the Light Dragoon, Rose the Darkness Dragoon and Zieg the Fire Dragoon. The Humans rose to fight against the Winglies under the lead of Holy Imperial Gloriano - Emperor Diaz. The humans were supported by Dragons/Dragoons and fought against the Winglies, who were supported by Virages. The seven Dragoons fought against the Wingly leader, Melbu Frahma but by the end of the war, only 2 survived. Of the Dragoons - Syuveil, Damia, Kanzas, Belzac and Shirley- all were killed in the great battles of the war. The other two Dragoons- Rose and Zieg- still lived. Rose loved Zieg and was his fiance, but got separated from him while defeating Melbu Frahma. Zieg finally defeated Melbu Frahma, but Melbu Frahma had a secret power- he could live without his physical body! Before Melbu Frahma's physical body was defeated, he unleashed a spell that made Zieg turn to stone. A lot of lives were lost in the desperate battle, but humans won and freed the gods and had freedom of their own. It was known as the legendary "Dragon Campaign".
But the humans made a mistake in the war- they destroyed the Crystal Sphere in which Melbu Frahma was getting lots of power from and in which the soul was sealed in! In the war the humans also destroyed one of the Signet Spheres and one of the Signet Spheres was lost. The Winglies then gave one of the three objects to each of the three pcountries of Endiness as a sign of peace- Serdio, Tiberoa and Mille Seaseau. 10,000 years pass and the curse that had turned Zieg to stone lifted. Not knowing that his beloved Rose still lived, Zieg settled down in a quiet village called Neet, with a woman named Claire. They had a son, Dart. 18 years before the events of the game, a terrible monster, known as The Black Monster, burnt Neet to the ground. Dart's parents tried to stop it, and what happened isnt quite known. what is known is that Zieg used his Dragoon Spirit and released a domant Melbu Frama, who had attached himself to the Spirit.Come dawn only two people survived the destruction of neet, Dart and a girl who would become a sacred sister in Mille Seaseau.
