Tifa can be seen in various outfits in Final Fantasy VII: A light blue one-piece dress at 8 years old the time her mother died, spotting a cowgirl fashion during the incident in which Nibelheim was set ablaze , and a figure-hugging purple dress when she infiltrated Corneo's mansion. Being fond of fighting without weapons, her basic attire consists of parts which seem suitable for easy movement. However, Tifa's appearance has always been something to discuss since the game's release. I think I'll just start with the normal aspects, first. One striking feature includes her large red eyes which take up most of her face. She has a thing small nose and thin lips. Her hair is dark brown and extremely long. It's also layered and feathered a bit and produces long bangs on the right side of her face. Her clothes are the controversial part; she wears an extremely small white tank that ends above her stomach. She also wears an extremely Lindsay Lohan short skirt with a large belt that has suspenders. Her long gloves are obviously her weapons and they look pretty fierce. She also wears extremely large boots. I've always hated her main outfit because I, like many others, got the impression that she was a just a character created by guys, for guys. However, she's clearly a strong woman full of complexities. So, she was designed this way for two reasons; one, because she was designed by a man, and two, because she was supposed to be the opposite of Aeris, who in contrast, wears a not-so-revealing long dress.

Tifa's long and thin hair can indicate many things. It is said that if your hair is fine, delicate and silky, you are sensitive and also likely to be fragile physically especially if you are of a slender build, such as Tifa. Her wideset and large eyes say that she is very tolerant and broadminded in perspective. It is said that people of this class may present a flagrant disregard for authority and advice.

The mouth is related to communication, speech and the sensual appetites like eating and sex. The lips relate to our ability to nurture others in loving relationships. If the upper lip is considerably thinner than the lower lip, it reveals an inability to reciprocate in relationships. Conversely, a thinner lower lip indicates an overly giving nature; Tifa has very narrow, straight lips which is interesting since she often has a difficult time expressing her feelings towards others she feels love for. Some say one's veins are quite prominent with hair that is fine, soft or silky. This type is usually very restless. You are one of those people always on the go - active, quick, versatile and talkative. One's voice may also seem somewhat high pitched (It is in Advent Children). Tifa's facial shape expresses that she is an active, athletic and energetic individual but may somehow lack stamina and burn out quickly. The Chinese Face readers refer to Tifa's triangular face as a Fire Face and this results in Tifa being bright, intelligent, sensitive, creative and very active. These traits do reflect a fiery nature, and so coupled with her fine thinking capacity, she possesses positive traits of both elements - fire and air.
